# ChatGPT

Add Reduck to ChatGPT on the web as a custom plugin, so the agent can run browser scripts on the sites that have no API of their own.

ChatGPT reaches Reduck as a custom MCP server, added as a plugin from the Plugins page on the
web.

## Before you start

You need a Reduck account, and a paired browser if you want scripts to run on your own Chrome.
Both are in the [quick start](https://docs.reduck.ai/#quick-start).

## Add the plugin

Open ChatGPT on the web and click **Plugins** in the left sidebar. On the Plugins page, click
**Add** at the top right, then choose **Add custom MCP server**.

Fill in the form:

- **Name**: `Reduck`.
- **Connection**: leave **Server URL** selected, and enter `https://mcp.reduck.ai`.
- **Authentication**: leave it on **OAuth**.

Tick **I understand and want to continue**, then click **Create as a plugin**.

## Connect your Reduck account

ChatGPT opens **Connect Reduck**. Click **Continue to Reduck**.

A Reduck page opens and asks whether ChatGPT may connect to your account. Click **Authorize**.
ChatGPT takes you back to the Plugins page, where Reduck is a new icon under **Installed**. The
icon has no name next to it.

## Confirm it is connected

On the Plugins page, click the Reduck icon under **Installed**, then click **Try in chat**. A new
chat opens with **Reduck** already selected in the message box.

Ask something that only Reduck can answer, such as `list my paired devices`.

## If it does not work

- **Create as a plugin** stays greyed out. Tick **I understand and want to continue** first.

## Try it

Ask for something on a real site, and let the agent pick the script:

> Use Reduck to get me the weather in Paris for the next two weeks.

Reduck finds a script for the site, runs it, and hands back the result. The
[script catalogue](https://reduck.ai/explore/scripts) lists everything it can already do.
