ChatGPT reaches Reduck as a custom MCP server, added as a plugin from the Plugins page on the web. Once added, it is in the ChatGPT app on a phone or a tablet too (Phone and tablet).

Before you start

You need a Reduck account, and a paired browser if you want scripts to run on your own Chrome. Both are in the quick start.

Add the plugin

Open ChatGPT on the web and click Plugins in the left sidebar. On the Plugins page, click Add at the top right, then choose Add custom MCP server.

Fill in the form:

Name: Reduck.
Connection: leave Server URL selected, and enter https://mcp.reduck.ai.
Authentication: leave it on OAuth.

Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.

Connect your Reduck account

ChatGPT opens Connect Reduck. Click Continue to Reduck.

A Reduck page opens and asks whether ChatGPT may connect to your account. Click Authorize. ChatGPT takes you back to the Plugins page, where Reduck is a new icon under Installed. The icon has no name next to it.

Confirm it is connected

On the Plugins page, click the Reduck icon under Installed, then click Try in chat. A new chat opens with Reduck already selected in the message box.

Ask something that only Reduck can answer, such as list my paired devices.

If it does not work

Create as a plugin stays greyed out. Tick I understand and want to continue first.

Try it

Ask for something on a real site, and let the agent pick the script:

Reduck finds a script for the site, runs it, and hands back the result. The script catalogue lists everything it can already do.
